On June 4, 2016, the Minister of Energy Mr. Kakhi Kaladze, the Director of SOCAR Georgia Gas LLC       Mr. Azer Mammadov and the Governor of Lanchkhuti Municipality Mr. Zaza Urushadze opened the construction of a new gas pipeline in Kvemo Shukhuti and Zemo Shukhuti villages of Lanchkhuti Municipality.

Approximately 26 kilometers of gas pipeline will be built in these villages, which will enable the gasification of 750 potential subscribers.
