The Azerbaijani company SOCAR has obtained an agreement with the South Caucasus and Shah Deniz consortiums to increase natural gas supply to Georgia during the winter period. According to the agreement reached as a result of the negotiations, the gas supply to Georgia will increase by 50 million cubic meters during the winter period alone. "The support of the Georgian side is another visible example of good neighborly relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia and is an undoubted basis for strengthening and developing mutually beneficial cooperation in the future," said in a statement released by SOCAR.
