In connection with the changes made to SEMEC “Rules for the Supply and Consumption of Natural Gas” which provide for the installation of smart meters for consumers during gasification of apartment buildings in self-governing cities from October 1 of this year, the Company’s representatives familiarized themselves with the European standard of the smart metering system and its software using the example of Italy.

During the visit, representatives of SOCAR Georgia Gas and Sakorggaz visited the Pietro Fiorentini plant of natural gas pressure control devices (regulators) Also, technical personnel were trained to improve their skills and qualifications.

The specified company uses natural gas pressure regulators in its gas distribution system, which ensures the fulfillment of obligations under the license for a safe, reliable and continuous supply of natural gas.
